an ILAsm compiler written in C#, using CCI as backend

It may sound as an excuse not to learn the ins and outs of the CCI API, but:

Is there some intern at MS who can be made to write an ILAsm parser in C# using CCI as backend?

(actually, whether with CCI is the backend or not, what would make my day is an ILAsm-to-assembly compiler written in C#)

And a hot coffee please. :)

If you need to use a ILAsm compiler as a black box, I don't see why you would care if it was written in C# or not.

So obviously you need to use it as a library in a program of yours. Then I don't see how it could be very different from using CCI.

Are you saying you want something like CCI metadata but you don't like the ins and outs of the CCI API? :)

I often have hard times trying to understand things in CCI. What do you find difficult? That may be more interesting/helpful for herman, maybe.
